Surely you remember Stellai’s flying carpet story of the previous episode. You know, the one with the ray fish doll, which she took for a carpet, and who became her new transportation pet to get her back home. And if you dig deep you may even remember that she was heading for a boat, which Koen thought to be specialized in fish dolls, whatever that may be…. Well, unlike you, the three of us now know what that is, but telling you here would spoil the story that is about to begin.  So if you want to know what a fishing boat is and you feel up to indulging yourself in a new crazy episode of Stellai’s adventure to get home, then please continue reading.

If it is just the photos you are interested in, then please know that we have added them specially for our dear sis Anaya and her embee housemate Isabel, from whom we have received this week a gigantic box filled with lots and lots of presents.  Thank you both so much!!

Rock the Boat, yeah!

Knock-knock…

Who’s there?

Come on Stellai, you know who’s there. It’s just an imaginable door that keeps our thoughts apart and I am the only one to talk to you transcendentally, or whatever you like to call it. Anyway,  It has been several days since our last contact and we all very much like to know where the physical part of you  currently is hanging out. I do hope you have got on that fishing boat and that you are now heading for shore….

Oh, hi Koen, please tell the girls that I’m currently on dry land and that I have succeeded in getting the salt out of my hair.  I sincerely hope never have to cross another ocean under water ever again, though it really pained me that I had to say goodbye to Speedy, my ray. But she is a fish doll, not designed to function on land, so I had to leave her behind.

I’m happy to know that you have decided to leave Speedy and head for the fishing boat without her. I was a little worried  about what would have happened when you would have taken  that ray on that fishing boat.

Yeah, about that, next time please be a bit more elusive when describing horror devices like fishing boats. How the hell was I supposed to understand from your remark last time that a fishing boat is in fact a floating fish doll destruction workplace.

I recall mentioning to you that your ray may have ended up dead if you would have taken her with you on that boat. It was a clear warning.

Wow! If you call that a CLEAR WARNING then you need to get yourself checked!  Anyone MAY end up dead when going to another place. But when you are a fish doll and you find yourself on a floating workplace  specialized in fish doll DESTRUCTION, then you do not MAY END UP DEAD, NO, YOU MOST DEFINITELY WILL END UP DEAD!!

Okay, sorry, I should have been a bit more explicit. But your ray still lives, right?

Yeah, no thanks to you. You have no idea how much effort it took me to get her off that boat unscathed.

Oh my God, what happened? Is that boat still in one piece?

Really? That horrible boat, that  is your first concern? How about: “Stellai, are you well? No injuries to yourself caused by the fact that you had to deal with 4 FEROCIOUS EMBEES ARMED TO THE TEETH WITH PICK HOOKS, KNIVES AND EVEN A PISTOL ?!” But to answer your question, yes, that boat is still in one piece, though it is a bit stuck in the sand  and it will also be a bit of a hassle to get it from the bottom of the ocean back up floating on the surface of the water. But that’s not my problem.

So….  you have sunk the fishing boat….. how?

Hey, I didn’t do anything!! It just sunk. Not my fault!

A crew of 4 persons  on a fishing boat…. That must have been a pretty big boat. Boats of that size do not sink just like that. Stellai, what happened?!

What happened? Okay, I will tell you what happened. When Speedy and I arrived near that boat we were instantly spotted by the crew and they scooped us out of the water with a huge landing net. Then they separated us, throwing Speedy in a barrel and picked me up by my lower leg as if I was just some kind of toy. So I was hanging upside down trying to thank them for saving me, but there was a lot of noise coming from the boat and they did not listen. In fact they completely ignored every attempt I made to make contact with them. But what they did do was almost squeeze me to pieces, bending my arms and legs, poking my nose and my boobs and then the biggest and beardiest bully of them all grabbed me, bent my legs forward and pressed me down to sit on some kind of huge basket, while laughing and yelling something to his mates. Since this is the Arabian sea, I guess what he shouted will have been Arabian, because I could not understand a single word of it.  Anyway, because this was my first encounter with embee fisherman dolls I thought it best first to learn a bit more about them by observing before making a second attempt to make contact. Perhaps it was their plan as well, because the basket they had placed me on gave me a clear view to their activities when they went back to work.

Whether it was their intent to intimidate me, or them just doing their daily routine, I cannot tell, but the effect it had on me will have been the same, because I was to witness the most gruesome way of damaging fish dolls imaginable. Fish dolls were taken out of a barrel and then for no reason decapitated with an enormous butcher’s knife, after which the fish doll was cut open and tubes and other inner parts were removed and tossed overboard, after which the soft skin of the beheaded fish doll was thrown in another barrel. Just like that.

It was obvious that I to save Speedy. So when one of the giants reached for the barrel they had thrown her in, I stood up and rushed towards him to stop him.…. And then things got a little out of hand….

… A little out of hand? The boat apparently ended up on the bottom of the ocean. Stellai, what did you do to this man?

Nothing, I swear! I haven’t laid a finger on him. I just shouted to him to stop, but for God knows what reason the giant totally freaked out when he saw me  jumping from the basket and waving and running towards him. He started yelling like crazy and then all of a sudden all four of them giants  grabbed knives and pick hooks and came for me.  One of them even started shooting at me, so I ran!  Up and down that hellish boat I ran and left and right and left and right, running from one side to the other, trying to escape four ferocious giant size mad dolls close on my tail. And then the boat started rocking and rocking… which gave me an idea … If I had that boat rock hard enough, the barrel with Speedy would probably tumble over and fall overboard, so I ran some more from left to right and back….Hey, you have to believe me, it was never my intent to sink that boat. How was I to know that when finally the barrel with Speedy fell overboard a lot more barrels went with it, which apparently made the rocking boat too light on the one side and too heavy on the other and then….. well, it tumbled and then it suddenly went down.  Clearly a flaw in the construction. As said, not my fault!

But what happened to the fishermen? Tell me, did they survive?

Really? I have saved Speedy and  probably another thousand more fish dolls and your only concern is about the lives of them four murderous destructor dolls?  Wow!!  But to answer your question, yes, they were all alive when I last saw them. When I was on the bottom of the sea again, looking for Speedy, I could see them swimming on the surface. What happened to them after that, I do not know. But I think it likely that at least one of them will have been forced to do the shark-gutter-crawl, because when Speedy and I were heading for shore, I  saw several enormous shark dolls swimming towards the area where their boat had gone down.

So, and where are you now?

I have no idea, but it‘s somewhere with lots of sand. And rocks. And sand, lots and lots of sand!

To be continued…..
