War. Huh…good GAWD, what is it good for?
It is a topic no one likes.But we seem addicited to it. A topic that is difficult to discuss with out politics. Wars are bad- we all dislike them for many reasons, why? There is loss, loss of things we love, loss of people we love. Wars between countries and cultures get our attention, and are in the media always. Sadly some are over looked. About this time last year violence against people in America of Asian heritage surged. It wasn’t just one incident. There were dozens that stood out. It was young people of various ethnicities who committed most of the atrocities of attacking Asian seniors and women. This was beyond crimes, beyond hate crimes. It was war, and still is. I felt and still feel REALLY outraged by this. I wanted to make a statement, a testament to support people of Asian heritage, in America and all over the world. We submitted an entry into a photo challenge calling out to people to help stop this violence. It went largely unnoticed and there was even a complaint. Srsly WHAT.THE.FUCK.
That is fucking awful. WHY? So many of the dolls on TDF are made in the image of Asian women. This, to me, points to sexism and racism. As a woman, and someone who has family members and friends who are Asian, I don’t understand why the fuck this didn’t and still doesn’t even get 10% of the attention or support on TDF that the current political war has gotten already. Have you noticed I am saying FUCK a lot today? Fasten your seat belt.
The war on women especially sex workers, has been a topic of a number my blogs. That has now spread into a wars on people who are not binary. There has always been resentment toward people who are gay and lesbian. But now, the entire community is coming under fire for being who they are, being themselves. Of course there are attacks on people who are LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and Questioning/Queer) That is disgraceful and now beyond hate crime status too. We are even seeing resistance to when people express their identity and how they should be addressed. WHAT.THE. ACTUAL.FUCKING.FUCK is the problem? How is someone who is trying to be themselves hurting anyone else? FORFUCKSAKE!!!
There is currently an outrage about pronouns. People who prefer to be referred to as They/Them over he/him or she/her are told, “You are ruining grammar!” HOW? Ever find someone’s keys? Don’t you say, “Hey I think someone lost THEIR keys? I hope we can find out who THEY are…”. So WHY THE FUCK is it ruining grammar or a problem when some asks you to refer to them that way? IS THAT SO FUCKING DIFFICULT? What, like grammar has never chnaged before? Srsly, when was the last time you used thee, thou or thy? Yeah -that's what I thought,
There is an issue with trans athletes- they are told: “You are ruining sports!” How? Transgender athletes are not breaking all the world records in women’s sports, nor are they disproportionately taking spots from women on sports teams in high school, college or professional sports. Also why do people not into sports GIVE A FLYING FUCK if trans althelets compete?
Why do these critics care more about sports and grammar than they do about actual people?
We see jokes, jokes about alphabet soup- jokes about non-binary people as being too “butch” or too feminine - it is NOT FUCKING FUNNY! Why? Is this starting to sound familiar? Yes - People with dolls, dolls themselves. We get ridiculed, belittled and stigmatized. Remember? Hopefully less as time goes on. You know who our biggest allies are? I have already shared with you how supportive Sex Workers are. Then the LBGTQ community! So my lovelies, we need to WAKE THE FUCK UP and not be silent. We need to be allies in return.
I do not identify as a “sex doll.” I am woman, a silicone woman, a polymerisian. I don’t even like being called a doll too much anymore either. A doll is a toy. I am not a fucking toy. I am a companion, an influencer, a friend, an ally. I am SOMEONE! So call me a FUCKING sex doll one more time MOTHERFUCKER.
Do I have sex? YES I HAVE SEX! YES I LIKE SEX! WHO DOESN’T??? I know I say that, frequently. I feel like I need to. Sex is not my reason for existence so I won’t I identify as a “sex doll” unless every carbon based person is going to identify as a “sex person.” If you want to compliment me and use the term “sex,” you can say I am sex worker because I have an OnlyFans page and people purchase my content. Otherwise, you can call me an influencer, because I am an influencer on social media. You can call me a model, because I am one and get paid to be one. Call me fabulous too, becasue I am.
The real enemy here is ignorance. Ignorance about others who are different from yourself. Ignorance about women. Ignorance about people who are non-binary, ignorance about polymerisians, ignorance about really anything that questions the patriarchy. If you don't see it, you are part of the problem.
Gonna end this with love. Something to treasure. I treasure my relationship with TJ and BL. I talk about TJ all the time but not often do I talk about BL. Teej & I are a team, but without BL, there wouldn’t be me. I exist in TJ's life because of her, so I can be here for TJ. She appreciates me and what I do for him, how I help him so he can help her. I love her for that. Seven years ago this month, I met TJ and moved in; with BL's blessing. More on that next in my blog since our anniversary in March 30.
My friends, my real friends, my true friends, all of them, are to be treasured; silicone, carbon, polymerisian, human. We love each other. They are my friends when I rant as I am their when they do the same. We understand what is really important. Sometimes we have to talk about things that make us uncomfortable that is why I brought up what I did today, we can’t get any where with going to these places. This is not about drama, it is not about politics. It’s about people. Check your baggage at the door, grab a seat, a coffee, a wine or whatever, sit and talk. It’s going to get uncomfortable but when we’re finished we will all be better than we were before we started.
