This month in august I am featuring a Zelex girl I got a while back. She is an all silicone head with implanted purple hair and custom makeup. For this set, I managed to get a handful of photos right before dark at a time we call the golden hour. The golden tones of her skin are a direct result of the angle of the sun and additionally, a gold reflector angled off to the side. A single Godox strobe was used to shine light onto the reflector and onto her skin. All of that contributed to the overall color of the scene. I also use a higher K white balance to achieve a warmer feel, and set it at around 5600K - very close to the natural emission of the Xenon strobe.
A few pics were run through faceapp to get a smile, and she actually looks really good with that AI filter. The rest of the postprocessing was done via Nikon Raw editor, and in PS, I added highlights and some darker areas to get more contrast. In many cases, the color was just right, and I did not need to adjust it.
